Imagine a world whose slate is wiped clean of human existence—for the time being. The terrain would be divided into five unspoken yet remarkably distinct regions, each occupied by those of Canis lupus ancestry. These wolves would not be ordinary, but instead graced with certain qualities derived from the four basic elements: earth, water, fire, and air.
Now enter Kukui.
With civilization inevitably comes conflict. The Spectrum is governed, if one may even call it that, by Alpha wolves from four elements. The leader of the supposedly unified pack rests with those of the ‘light’ congregation. The loose confederation depends on betterment of relations, which one may only hope and pray for. Over a century of war has pitted the five against the outcasts—the shadow pack.
The outcome rests in your hands, because evolution cannot save the Spectrum—it is but a fabricated story.
01.16.10 -- Well, we somehow managed to miss ringing in the New Year, but here at least two of us are. Right now, Spectrum is depending on random acts of kindness, support, and overall inspirement (which probably isn't really a word) to get it off its feet. So if you feel the need to help out what could be a lost cause in a few more months, go ahead and join. We're tweaking a few aspects of the site at a time to make it more eye-friendly and easier to navigate. Hopefully we succeed. Thanks for sticking around, Swifty.
11.19.09 -- Wow. It almost looks like the admins have vanished off the face of the planet, doesn't it? These updates have become quite sparse, I must say. Well, I have news for you: we're still here. School and such, as you may be aware, tends to consume all extra time we admin-y folks have on our hands...so it is quite expectable for one to assume that those things had claimed the admins and refused to spit us back out. (Hm, that was a tad hard to follow....) But yes, in short, we are STILL alive, but are counting on new members to fill our ranks and keep those of us who still check in from time to time from going insane without company. I think that is all.
